- Madhya Pradesh is a land of vast diversity. From ethnic groups to multitudinous of language brackets and even countless cuisines, there is something to offer to everybody. 
- But what makes a state actually prosper and stand out? 
Infrastructure?Employment?evidently yes. But one of the most important and crucial facets of a developing state is undeniably education. 

Here is a list of MP government’s topmost schemes made for student’s benefits

1.

Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana (Laptop distribution scheme 2017)

For students scoring more than 85% in class 12th board examinations, the government of MP announced the distribution of Rs. 25000 to purchase a new laptop for future studies. By doing so, the officials not only appreciated the students for their sincere efforts but also encouraged them to pursue higher education.

Shala Sidhi Protsahan Yojana

To improve the current standard and to ensure that government schools are imparting quality education, Madhya Pradesh government has introduced Shala SidhiProtsahanYojana. Under which the officials keep a check on the working and improvement of government schools. Also to recognize and appreciate the best work, officials present awards to the schools and its staff members.

Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana :

Under this policy student securing equal to or more than 75% in MP Board and 85% or more in CBSE/ICSE board is awarded by scholarship and are exempted from college fees. As per October 2018 over 85000 applications have been filed under MukhyamantriMedhaviVidhyarthiYojana. Students who meet all the requirements can apply online at scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in

Ruk Jana Nahi Scheme

For students who could not pass their class 10th or 12th MP Board examination, the MP government has provided a blessing and relief in the form of Ruk Jana Nahi Scheme. Under this the students who failed the examination in the first attempt get another chance to take the tests and clear the examination.

5.

Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana for SC/ST students

It was declared by the state government that gifted students belonging to ST/SC caste groups will be provided with free academic training throughout the state in various locations. This was to ensure that talented students can unlock their full potential.

6.

Free Bicycle Distribution Scheme

Madhya Pradesh government provides free bicycles to the students of class 9th. The students are either provided with a sanctioned bicycle or given the grant to buy one themselves.This scheme facilitate the children to reach the school easily and exercise their right to education without any hindrance.

7.

Vikramaditya Free Education Scheme

An initiative by Madhya Pradesh government, this policy aids BPL families belonging to the general category by providing scholarships to the children for their higher studies. To be eligible for this policy the students must have completed class 12th with at least 60%.
