MPPSC Eligibility Criteria 2020-21:-

The MPPSC (Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission) is the authority that specifies the Eligibility Criteria for candidates for the state service 2021 exam. The MPPSC age limit, qualification, and rules of domicile explained in this section. It will help candidates understand their chances of appearing for the MPPSC examination 2021 based on the 2020-21 eligibility criteria. For convenience, we have also added the physical requirements for the Police Services exam 2021 specified by MPPSC this is based on the MPPSC Previous year eligibility requirement.
- The candidate must be a Citizen of India.
- Male candidates with more than one wife (living) are not eligible.
- Female candidates who have married a person already having a wife (living) are not eligible.
- Candidates claiming age relaxation/reservation in more than one category for the MPPSC Exam shall be entitled to only one concession, whichever is more beneficial.
- Candidates who are declared guilty by the court for a crime against women will not be eligible for the examination. However, the candidates against whom the court verdict for the said cases are due, may sit for the examination but will be posted only after the final verdict is out (And he/she isn’t guilty).
Age Limit & Relaxation MPPSC 2020-21:-
The age limit for MPPSC State Service Exam 2020-21:
For Non-Uniformed Post
- Minimum age – 21 years
- Maximum age – 40 years (Candidates should not complete 40 years)
- For Women (UR, PwD), Men, Women (SC, ST, OBC etc) – Maximum Age is 45
For Uniformed-Post
- Minimum Age – 21 years
- Maximum age – 33 years (Candidates should not complete 33 years)
- For Women (UR), Men, Women (SC, ST, OBC etc) – Maximum age is 38.

- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognised University or equivalent qualification.
- Candidates possessing Professional and Technical qualifications, which are recognized by the State Government as equivalent to a Professional or Technical degree.
- Such candidates, who have appeared in any examination in which after passing, they are under academic examination under the Commission’s examination. But the result of which has not been announced and the candidates who want to appear in such non-examination With the intention, they will be Eligible for admission to the pre-examination. For all such candidates who have appeared in the State Service Main Examination required to pass Graduate / equivalent by the last date to apply for the main examination. Candidates who have not passed graduation / equivalent till the last day to submit the application for the main examination shall Not be Eligible to apply for the main examination. Before The interview It will be mandatory to present the mark of passing the important examination along with the approval letter.
- Such Candidates who have professional or technical qualifications, which are Equivalent to technical degrees recognized by the State Government will be Eligible for admission to the examination.
- For the post of District/Area Convenor and Tribal Welfare Department preference will be given to those candidates who have taken sociology as a subject at the graduation level. Preferred means that in the event of having equal marks, the final selection of candidate will depend on the alphabetical order who has taken Sociology as a subject at the undergraduate level.
Domicile Rule for MPPSC 2020-21:-
Candidates applying for MPPSC exam 2021 for State Services must check the following domicile rules –
- The candidates must be permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh.
- The candidate must have completed his/her higher education, i.e., 10th & 12th from Madhya Pradesh.
- Only the candidates who satisfy the above domicile rules are eligible to register for MPPSC 2021 exam for state services.
