Step 1: Register

Candidates have to register by providing the basic details related to them like name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, mobile number, email ID, etc. Candidates have to provide their contact details as well for any further proceedings by MPPSC. After completing registration, the candidates will get a provisional registration number and password. Candidates must note or take a print out of this registration number and password for any future reference.

Step 2: Fill Required Details

After successful registration, candidates are required to fill in all the other important details – Educational Details, Permanent and Local Address Details, Gender, Category, Exam Centre, etc. After filling all the required information, candidates must go through the application form.

Step 3: Upload Scanned Images

After completing all the essential details, candidates have to upload their scanned images and scanned signature. They will have to upload these objects in two separate links that will be provided in the application form. These photographs and signatures should match the specifications mentioned in the notification. Photographs and signatures are essential for the candidates to be uploaded. 

The following specifications are required for uploading scanned signature –  

  • The signature should be between the dimension – 3.5 cm X 1.5 cm.
  • The file size should not exceed 50 KB.
  • The formats of an image that is supported by the portal are – .jpe,.jpeg,.jpg,.png.
  • The signature should always be in the sentence case. Kindly do not use all capitals letters while doing signature. 
  • Signature should be done with a black-ink pen on white paper.

The following specifications are required for uploading scanned photograph –  

  • The file size should not be larger than 50 KB.
  • The format of the image has to be – .jpe,.jpeg,.jpg,.png.
  • The dimension of the passport size photograph should be between 3.5 cm X 1.5 cm.

Step 4: Payment of application fees

After filling all the details in the registration form, the students then have to upload the images. After all these works are done, candidates are required to pay the application fee for the MPPSC exam. This payment has to be done in online mode only. The payment of fees can be done using Debit Card/Credit Card or the candidates can also use Internet Banking. After the payment is done, an e-receipt with ‘Payment Done’ written over it must be displayed. Candidates should download the same for future reference.

Application Fees

  • For residents of Madhya Pradesh who belong to SC/ST, OBC, and Physically Handicapped categories the fees will be Rs.750/-.
  • General Candidates of M.P. and candidates out of Madhya Pradesh and belonging to General, SC/ST, OBC, and Physically Handicapped category have to pay a fee of Rs.1500/-.

MPPSC has provided a detailed syllabus for Preliminary exam, but there are certain topics on which the number of questions asked is more than the rest of the topics in the subject. राज्य सेवा परीक्षा वर्ष-2020 से लागू परीक्षा योजना एवं पाठयक्रम


1. राज्य सेवा परीक्षा के तीन क्रमिक चरण होंगे –
1) राज्य सेवा प्रारंभिक परीक्षा (वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रश्न ओ.एम.आर.शीट आधारित)
2) राज्य सेवा मुख्य परीक्षा (लिखित वर्णनात्मक)
3) साक्षात्कार।

2. प्रारंभिक परीक्षा में वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार (बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न) के दो प्रश्न पत्र होंगे। प्रत्येक प्रश्नपत्र की रचना निम्नलिखित योजनानुसार की जाएगी:- प्रथम प्रश्न पत्र सामान्य अध्ययन 2 घंटे 200 अंक
द्वितीय प्रश्न पत्र सामान्य अभिरुचि परीक्षण 2 घंटे 200 अंक

3. यह परीक्षा केवल छानबीन परीक्षण (Eligibility Test) के रूप में ली जाती है। इस परीक्षा में प्राप्त अंको के आधार पर अभ्यर्थियों का मुख्य परीक्षा हेतु योग्य/अर्ह घोषित किया जाता है। अंतिम चयन सूची केवल मुख्य परीक्षा तथा साक्षात्कार में प्राप्त अंको के आधार पर निर्मित की जाएगी।

4. (1) दोनों प्रश्नपत्र वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार (बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न) के होंगे। प्रत्येक प्रश्न के लिए चार सम्भावित उत्तर होंगे जिन्हें अ,ब,स और द में समूहीकृत किया जाएगा, जिनमें से एक सही उत्तर होगा। उम्मीदवार से अपेक्षा की जाती है कि वह उत्तर पुस्तिका में उसके द्वारा निर्णित सही माने गये अ,ब,स या द में से केवल एक उत्तर पर चिहन लगाए।
(2) प्रत्येक प्रश्नपत्र में 2-2 अंक के 100 प्रश्न होंगे। प्रत्येक प्रश्नपत्र की समयावधि 2 घंटे होगी।
(3) प्रारंभिक परीक्षा हेतु सामान्य अध्ययन तथा सामान्य अभिरुचि-परीक्षण के विस्तृत पाठयक्रम परिशिष्ट-दो में यथा विनिर्दिष्ट हैं।
(4) प्रत्येक प्रश्न पत्र हिन्दी तथा अंग्रेजी में होगा।
(5) प्रारंभिक परीक्षा उपरांत परीक्षा में पूछे गए प्रश्नों और उसके मॉडल उत्‍तरों की कुंजी तैयार कर आयोग की वेबसाइट www.mppsc.nic.in तथा www.mppsc.com पर प्रकाशित कर ऑनलाइन पद्धति से 07 दिवस की अवधि में में आपित्‍तयाँ प्राप्त की जाएँगी। अभ्यर्थी प्रति प्रश्न आयोग द्वारा निर्धारित शुल्क तथा पोर्टल शुल्क का भुगतान कर ऑनलाइन आपत्तियाँ जमा कर सकेंगे। 07 दिवस के निर्धारित अवधि के पश्चात किसी भी अभ्यावेदन पर कोई विचार नहीं किया जाएगा।

समिति द्वारा आपित्‍तयों पर विचार कर निम्नानुसार कार्यवाही की जाएगी-
1) ऐसे प्रश्न जिनका मॉडल कुंजी में गलत उत्तर दिया गया है और प्रश्न के वैकल्पिक उत्‍तरों में दूसरा सही उत्तर उपलब्ध है तब मॉडल कुंजी को संशोधित किया जाएगा।
2) आपित्‍तयों आधार पर निम्नानुसार पाए गए प्रश्नों को प्रश्नपत्र से विलोपित किया जाएगा:-
=> ऐसे प्रश्न जिसका दिये गये विकल्पों में सही उत्तर न हो।
=> ऐसे प्रश्न जिसका दिये गये विकल्पों में एक से अधिक सही उत्तर हों अथवा एक से अधिक विकल्पों में सही उत्तर की पुनरावृत्‍ति हो।
=> प्रश्न के हिन्दी तथा अंग्रेजी अनुवाद में भिन्नता हो जो प्रश्न को सार्थक रूप से प्रभावित करता हो।

विषय-विशेषज्ञों द्वारा समस्त अभ्यावेदनों पर विचार करने के पश्चात मॉडल कुंजी बनाई जाएगी तथा आयोग की वेबसाइटwww.mppsc.nic.in तथा www.mppsc.com पर प्रकाशित की जाएगी।

उपरोक्तानुसार समिति द्वारा विलोपित किए गये प्रश्नों को छोड़कर शेष प्रश्नों के आधार पर अंतिम उत्तर कुंजी के आधार पर अभ्यर्थियों का मूल्यांकन कर प्रारंभिक परीक्षा- परिणाम घोषित किया जाएगा।

5. चयनित अभ्यर्थियों की संख्या कुल रिक्त पदों की संख्या के वर्गवार/श्रेणीवार अधिकतम 15 गुना होगी। समान अंक प्राप्त (वर्गवार/श्रेणीवार) उम्मीदवारों को भी मुख्य परीक्षा हेतु अर्ह घोषित किया जाएगा। केवल वे ही उम्मीदवार, जिन्हें आयोग ने संबंधित विज्ञापन के अधीन प्रारंभिक परीक्षा में अर्ह घोषित किया हो, मुख्य परीक्षा में प्रवेश पाने के लिए पात्र होंगे। मुख्य परीक्षा की पात्रता हेतु उम्मीदवार को प्रारंभिक परीक्षा के प्रत्येक प्रश्न पत्र में न्यूनतम 40 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्त करना आवश्यक होगा। अनुसूचित जाति/अनुसूचित जनजाति/ अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग एवं दिव्यांग श्रेणी के उम्मीदवार हेतु न्यूनतम अर्हकारी अंक 30 प्रतिशत होंगे।

विशेष :-
1. राज्य सेवा प्रारंभिक परीक्षा का द्वितीय प्रश्नपत्र केवल क्वालीफ़ाइंग स्वरूप का होगा।
2. द्वितीय प्रश्न पत्र में प्राप्त अंकों को प्रारंभिक परीक्षा-परिणाम हेतु गुणानुक्रम-निर्धारण में शामिल नहीं किया जाएगा।
3. राज्य वन सेवा प्रारंभिक परीक्षा का पाठयक्रम भी राज्य सेवा प्रारंभिक परीक्षा के समान ही होगा।
4. राज्य वन सेवा प्रारंभिक परीक्षा की मेरिट सूची प्रथम व द्वितीय दोनों प्रश्न पत्रों के प्राप्तांको को जोड़कर तैयार की जाएगी।

MPPSC Exam Pattern 2020

1. MPPSC Preliminary Examination

  • The MPPSC Pre-exam comprises two Papers:
    (a) General Studies
    (b) CSAT
    Nature of the examination: Multiple choice questions with 4 options
    Number of questions: 100 in each paper based on different topics
    Total marks=2 x 100 = 200 for each paper (No Negative Marking will be there)
    Time duration for each paper=2 hours
    Question papers will be available bilingually i.e. in both Hindi and English languages.The minimum criteria for being qualified for the Mains Examination is, aspirants must score a minimum of 40% marks in each of the question papers of the MPPSC Pre-examination. For the candidates of SCs/STs/OBCs and PWDs, it is 30 %.Note: Aspirants are advised to attempt the maximum number of questions there is no option of negative marking.

2. MPPSC Mains Examination

MPPSC Mains Examination comprises 4 major and two language-based papers –

MPPSC is about to release MPPSC State Services Examination 2019 Notification. Every year more than 3 lakh students appear for the exam to get an entry in states’ most prestigious government post. It is very important for the students to get the correct idea about the exam pattern before starting the preparation.

1. Minimum Educational qualification:

Candidate must hold a graduate or its equivalent degree from a university recognized as a center or state university under the University Grants Commission, 1956 (Notification No. 03, 1956).
Note 1. Competitors who have such expert or specialized capabilities, which are comparable to the expert or specialized degree perceived by the State Government, will likewise be qualified for affirmation in the assessment.
Note 2. For the post of District/Area Convenor, Primitive Welfare Department, those up-and-comers will be given inclination, who have accepted sociology as a subject at graduation level. 2. Age Limit:

3. Physical qualification:

Physical Measurements isn’t needed for many of the posts. MPPSC Exam Pattern / Plan of the examination

MPPSC examination consists of three successive stages:

1)Preliminary Examination (OMR based Objective Type questions).
2)Mains Examination (Descriptive/ essay-type answers).
3)Interview round (Personality Test).

Candidates will be allowed to appear in successive stages only if they get qualified in the preceding stage.

1) Preliminary Examination:

It comprises two mandatory papers (objective-based) for example General studies paper 1 and General studies paper 2 (CSAT) paper.
Total Questions- 100
Total marks- 200
Time Duration- 2 hours

Note 1. This assessment is taken as a screening test in particular. Applicants, based on the marks acquired in this assessment, are pronounced qualified for the assessment of the main. The final selection of a candidate in the MPPSC examination is more or less dependent on the marks obtained in Mains paper and Interview.

Note 2. The two inquiries will be of target type (numerous decisions). There will be four potential responses for each question, which will be assembled in A, B, C, and D, one of which will be the right answer. An applicant is required to check just one answer from the A, B, C, or D, which they consider right in the appropriate response sheet

Note 3. Each question paper will be in Hindi and English language.

Note 4. Paper 2 is of qualifying nature. In this manner, the value of the Candidates is resolved dependent on marks received in Paper 1 of the Preliminary Examination.

Note 5. There is no negative marking in both the papers

Each question paper is prepared according to the following plan:

2) Mains Examination

There will be a total of 6 question papers in the State Service Main Examination and all the question papers are mandatory

MPPSC mains exam paper consists of a total of 6 question papers and all of which are mandatory:

1. The question numbers, types, formats and word limit in the mains examination given as follows- there are two distinguished sections viz. section A and B comprise of 150 marks each in Paper I, II and III. The different booklet is being provided for both sections. The question pattern of MPPSC mains examination is as follows-
Paper I, II, and III for each section
15 questions- 30 words each (3 marks each)
10 questions- 100 words each (6 marks each)
3 questions- 300 words each (15 marks each)
A pattern of paper IV
15 questions- 25-30 words (3 marks each)
15 questions- 150 words (6 marks each)
2 questions- 15 marks each (case study)
Paper V is of the Hindi language consists of 10 questions of a total of 200 marks.
Paper VI – essay writing
1 question- 1000 words (50 marks)
1 question- 250 words (25 marks)
1 question- 250 words (25 marks)

3) Personality Test/Interview: 

The interview is the final stage of the exam and will be of 175 marks.

Finally, marks obtained in mains and interview stage are added for making the final merit list that is 1500 of mains exam and 175 of the interview stage are added.
