  • MPPSC State Services Prelims Exam Pattern 2021:-

     

    The Preliminary Exam pattern of MPPSC 2021 is given below.

      • Each paper will consist of a total of 100 questions and for each right answer, students will get 2 marks.
      • The prelims stage has a total of 400 marks and a total duration of which is 4 hours.
      • There is no negative marking for the Prelims of MPPSC State service exam, hence a candidate is suggested to answer the 100% question in the exam.
      • The Question paper will be in Both English and Hindi Languages.
      • The candidates appearing for the exam shall be provided an OMR Sheet to mark the answers. Candidates should make sure that they mark the entire circle properly.
      • Candidates are strictly advised to read the instructions properly given in the OMR Sheet.
      • Only the candidates who clear both the papers and achieve the cutoff marks determined by Madhya Pradesh Public service commission (MPPSC), will be qualified for the mains exam.

    MPPSC State Service Mains & Interview Exam Pattern 2021:-

    The Mains and Interview Exam pattern of MPPSC 2021 is given below.

    1) The First Question paper of General Studies has a maximum 300 Marks and the time will be 3 hours.

    There will be two sections ‘A’ and ‘B’ in the first question paper of General Studies. Each section will be of 150 Marks. Each section is divided into 05 units according to the syllabus. From each unit, 03 very short answer questions, 02 short answer questions and 01 long answer questions or essay questions will have to be answered. The number of questions can be reduced or increased as required.

    • In each unit, the very short answer will be 03 marks for each question and the short answer will be 05 marks for each question and the long answer will be 11 marks for each question.
    • Thus the maximum marks for each unit will be 30.
    • Similarly, the total maximum marks in both sections ‘A’ and ‘B’ will be 150-150.
    • Therefore, the first question paper’s maximum marks will be 300.
    • The ideal word limit of each very short answer question will be 10 words / one line.
    • The ideal word limit for each short answer question will be 50 words / 5 to 6 lines.
    • The ideal word limit for each long answer question will be 200 words.

    2) The Second Question paper of General Studies has a maximum 300 and the time will be 3 hours.

    There will be two sections ‘A’ and ‘B’ in the Second Paper of General Studies. Each section will be of 150 Marks. Each section is divided into 05 units according to the syllabus. From each unit, 03 very short answer questions, 02 short answer questions and 01 long answer questions or essay questions will have to be answered. The number of questions can be reduced or increased as required.

    • In each unit, 03 marks for each very short answer question and 05 marks for each short answer question and 11 marks for each long answer question will be maximum marks.
    • Thus the maximum marks for each unit will be 30.
    • Similarly, the maximum marks in both sections ‘A’ and ‘B’ will be 150-150.
    • The first question paper will have a maximum 300 marks.
    • The ideal word limit of each very short answer question will be 10 words / one line.
    • The ideal word limit for each short answer question will be 50 words / 5 to 6 lines.
    • The ideal word limit for each long answer question will be 200 words.

    3) The Third Question paper of General Studies has maximum 300 marks and the time will be 3 hours.

    The third question paper of General Studies is divided into 10 units. From each unit, 03 very short answer questions, 02 short answer questions and 01 long answer question or essay questions will have to be answered. The number of questions can be reduced or increased as required.

    • In each unit, the very short answer questions will be 03 marks for each question and the short answer questions will be 05 marks for each question and the long answer question will be 11 marks for each question.

    • There will be a maximum 300 marks in this paper.
    • The ideal word limit of each very short answer question will be 10 words / one line.

    4) In the Fourth Question paper of General Studies, the maximum marks is 200 and the time will be 3 hours.

    • The fourth question paper of General Studies is divided into 05 units, in which from the first to the fourth unit, 05 very short answer questions, 02 short answer questions and 01 long answer question or essay questions will have to be answered from each unit. The number of questions can be reduced or increased as required.
    • From the first to fourth unit, each unit will carry 02 marks for each very short answer question and 05 marks for each short answer question and 20 marks for each long answer question.
    • Thus from the first to the fourth unit, the maximum marks for each unit will be 40.
    • In the fifth unit of the question paper, you will have to write a review note of 02 case studies from the entire syllabus. 20 marks will be awarded for each case study.
    • There will be a total of 200 in this paper.
    • The ideal word limit of each very short answer question will be 10 words / one line.
    • The ideal word limit for each short answer question will be 50 words / 5 to 6 lines.
    • The ideal word limit for each long answer question will be 200 words.
    • The ideal word limit for each case study would be 500 words.

    5) The Fifth Question paper has a maximum 200 marks and the time will be 3 hours.

    The fifth question paper will be of General Hindi and Grammar.

    • In the first question, there will be a total of 25 questions, which will be asked from the entire syllabus. Each question will carry 03 marks.
    • The second question will be related to Alankar. In which 02 questions will be asked. Each question will carry 05 marks.
    • In the third question there will be 02 sub questions in which the translation of sentences from Hindi to English will be of 20 marks and English to Hindi will be of 15 marks. Thus the total marks for translation will be 35.
    • The fourth question will be related to Hindi grammar in which questions will be asked from Sandhi, Samas, punctuation etc. There will be a total of 20 marks in it.
    • The fifth question will be related to elementary grammar and vocabulary. Its total marks will be 20.
    • The sixth question will be related to unread passage. There will be a total of 20 marks in it.
    • The seventh question will be related to Pallavan or Bhav-Pallavan. It will have a total of 10 marks.
    • The eighth question will be related to summarization of the passage. It will have a total of 10 marks.
    • The number of questions can be reduced or increased as required. A question may also divide in sub questions as needed.

    6) Sixth Question paper has a maximum 100 marks and time will be 2 hours.

    • The Sixth Question paper will be of Hindi essay and Format writing.
    • There will be a total of three questions in the question paper.
    • Question number-1 will be the first essay in which an essay of 1000 words will have to be written. The question will have an internal option. This question will be of 50 marks.
    • Question number-2 will be related to current problem and diagnosis. In which an essay about 500 words will have to be written in Hindi. The question will have an internal option. This question will be of 25 marks.
    • Question number-3 will be related to formats writing. In this, any two formats have to be written in Hindi. The ideal word limit in each format writing would be 250 words. The question will have an internal option. This question will be of 25 marks.
    • The number of questions can be reduced or increased as required. A question may also have sub questions as needed.

    Interview/Personality Test:- 

    This is the last stage of the selection process of MPPSC State Service Recruitment 2020/21.. Candidates who clear the Main exam will be eligible for the interview test conducted by the Commission.

        • Interview Marks- 175

    Final Merit List after Interview:-

        • Total Marks- 1575 (1400 + 175)

    After which MPPSC will declare the final result of selected candidates.
