Indian Forest Services (IFS)


Indian Forest Services exam acronym as IFS Exam is taken by the UPSC for recruiting officers for the Indian Forest Service. The Indian Forest Service Officers (IFS) recruited through UPSC play a crucial role in the management and supervision of the country’s forest reserves and wild life.

Selected candidates are sent for foundation training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration followed by specialised training at the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, Dehradun.
